KND Performance Mentoring Programme | 2014

Announcing the launch of the new:
KND PERFORMANCE MENTORING PROGRAMME

A two-week intensive programme accompanied by 3 months follow-up mentoring

The first of its kind, we are launching the KND Performance Mentoring Programme in summer 2014. Devised and delivered by KND, it boosts freelance professional dancers mid-career by offering rigorous technical training, coupled with tailor-made mentoring sessions, all within a creative and person-centred environment.

At a critical point in a dancer’s career, typically unsupported by an educational institution, KND will prepare a small, select group of freelance dancers for an ever-changing and varied job landscape, with a two-week intensive programme. This will encompass classical and contemporary technique, choreography, teaching skills, voice, yoga and audition techniques, CV advice and personal mentoring – all delivered by a unique team of expert teachers and artists, including Kerry herself.

Post-intensive, KND will continue to mentor the successful Performance Mentoring Programme participants for a further three months, to ensure a legacy and supported development.

Places are available for 15 UK-based freelance dancers, who should have graduated at least 4 years ago and come from a strong classical/contemporary background. They will need a high technical ability, an open mind, and an enthusiasm for expanding their skill set.

The intensive programme dates are Monday 11 August – Friday 15 August and Monday 18 August – Friday 22 August 2014
Individual mentoring sessions will continue until November 2014.

THE CLOSING DEADLINE IS 6PM FRIDAY 30TH MAY 2014
AUDITIONS AND INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD IN JUNE 2014

Applications have now closed.

As this is a pilot course, we are offering a subsidised fee for this year only. Programme fee: £175 (which includes the full course of workshops and post-mentoring).

Generously supported by the Linbury Trust
